The Jardin Botaniques Cantonaux, also known as the Lausanne Botanical Gardens, are home to a host of exotic and tropical plants grown in large glasshouses, together with many colourful and native Swiss alpine flowers and a small onsite plant museum. The gardens are particularly historic and date back well over 100 years, featuring a strong medicinal theme.

Vidy Parc et Plage (Vidi Park)

This important green space is based around Vidy Harbour and Lake Geneva itself, where a range of waterfront attractions are to be found, including an extremely appealing beach area.
